About IIWAT: Do you have a self-esteem issue? Do you resent seeing yourself in the mirror? Does your body shape bother you? Do you feel disconnected or lonely? Or is there a deeper problem, an emotional barrier you cannot seem to be able to burst through no matter what.. Or even something you cannot really name?
In this workshop we will look at how we see ourselves and thus how we create the experiences that we are creating in our daily lives, based on how we would describe ourselves if we were a tree.
The tree is a symbol as well as a mirror and with the help of its image we will be able to look at ourselves in a different way than the way we see ourselves every day. At the end of the workshop the participants will have an easy and playful tool for change for the better.
We will use visualization and light movement, as well as minimalistic drawing and creativity. Experience with drawing is not necessary, just an open heart and readiness for experience a different perspective of yourself.
This workshop was specially designed for the Anima Migrante exhibition. You can also join our event on Facebook.
About Ioana: I was born in Romania and lived there until I finished the Faculty of Architecture. After that I worked internationally as an architect for more 12 years. Than I had a baby and my priorities profoundly changed, from being a workaholic towards working on a more subtle and soft level, directly with people and one on one, as a coach and an artist. Many times I was described as a bridger between different worlds and experiences. I support my clients to attain the best possible personal experience in the life we are living. I use many tools: from drawing and movement to delicate self-care and the use of all natural organic live food and basic materials, from visualization to inspiration, to empowerment. My best tool is awareness – being aware myself and making other people aware, of choices, of words, of actions, of patterns and energy, as well as of themselves, within and without. Thus Shining Mama was born.
